Animal print has become a trend that repeats itself in different ways every season.  I have to admit, I fought it for years and it wasn't until recently that I learned how to embrace it...now I can't get enough!

18-YEARS!

18-years ago today...I was dressed up like a clown and my parents were opening Growing Kids. I can't believe much we continue to grow and learn everyday with our new addition Renewal Ladies Resale.  I am looking forward to much more success in the future and I would like to take a minute to thank my Mom and Dad for the opportunity of a lifetime, our employees for all of their hard work everyday, and all of our customers for their continued support over the years!!

 

feel fresh fridays...brighten up your wardrobe

First of all, we would like to welcome Meghan, the newest member of our team!  She recently graduated from Philadelphia University where she studied Fashion Industry Management.  She has traveled to Shanghai, Shenzan and Hong Kong to study international product manufacturing and also had a Product Development Internship with Ralph Lauren in New York City.  She clearly has extensive knowledge in current fashion trends...make sure to say hello next time you stop by and she'll be more than happy to help you put together some fantastic outfits.

this season's shoe trends at last season's prices...

I can't tell you how many times I have explained our store to someone and their response is, "oh that's like shopping for last year's styles" or "oh, you mean like the Goodwill?"  I cringe on the inside...smile on the outside...and kindly explain to them that while we are a resale store, we only select things that are in-style and on-trend with current fashions.  We scour blogs and magazines about what's hot right now and our buyers are trained in selecting only items which fall into these trends.

Understanding that you can still get this season's fashions for a fraction of the cost seems to be the biggest obstacle for people to overcome while they are contemplating shopping in a resale or consignment store.
