Two weeks into the challenge, and I'm surprised by how much of my wardrobe is from thrift stores. It's good to know how much money I've saved over the years! Here's some more of our thrifted pieces for Day 10.

We are one week into this challenge...here is day-7 for you to peek at!

Krissy:  As I have mentioned before when it comes to styling lace incorporating a more rugged look with the femininity of the lace is my absolute favorite.  Pairing a military jacket and my favorite kicks gives me just the touch I am looking for.  The lace shirt, cami, vest and Tiffany's twist knot earrings were all thrifted from Renewal Resale.

  

Meghan- Another vintage dress from the Union City Salvation Army. I love dresses with a lot of detail such as this because it requires zero accessories- just throw it on and you're ready to go!

Feel Fresh Fridays...Styling lace

I hear so many people say they don't know how to wear lace because they either feel like their Grandmother or like they are wearing a doily that their Grandmother made for them.  This is just not the case!  Lace and crochet should be such a staple in everyone's wardrobe.  Here are a few different ways you can incorporate this fabulous trend into your closet.

My personal favorite when it comes to styling lace is actually what I base my entire style off of to begin with.  Growing up as the biggest tom-boy known to man...I love to incorporate menswear into my outfit nearly everyday.  Something about the blend of a masculine look with a feminine touch is just so visually appealing.

If you aren't feeling the menswear you can go with a more traditional approach.  Make sure you add a kick to your ensemble with a pop of color, colored skinny jeans is one of the easiest ways to do this.  We added the gold chain necklace mixed with pearls for a vintage touch and these Vince Camuto wedge boots are to die for!

And don't worry, if you aren't into the lace vibe, you can go straight for the sheer romance with just a touch of lace.  This silk pleated Buffalo skirt paired with the silk button up top and the lace camisole from Cotton On is a great combo.  Top off the look with this wicker Salvatore Ferragamo bucket tote.
