Krissy:  As I have mentioned before when it comes to styling lace incorporating a more rugged look with the femininity of the lace is my absolute favorite.  Pairing a military jacket and my favorite kicks gives me just the touch I am looking for.  The lace shirt, cami, vest and Tiffany's twist knot earrings were all thrifted from Renewal Resale.

  

Meghan- Another vintage dress from the Union City Salvation Army. I love dresses with a lot of detail such as this because it requires zero accessories- just throw it on and you're ready to go!

Feel Fresh Fridays: High Waisted Shorts

Each spring, I look forward to ending the winter for good by cutting up my jeans to make myself some new shorts for the upcoming season. However, after a life-time of daisy dukes, classic denim shorts can seem a bit boring.  High-waisted shorts are a great way to stay cool and stay in style. They can easily be dressed up, unlike the cut-off's we generally associate with summer. They are a surprisingly versatile addition to any wardrobe and a fun look for spring.

Although the style is retro, you can pair the shorts with floral-print tops and colorful necklaces to keep the look modern and funky.

Try a pair of silk high-waisted shorts with a loose, tucked-in top. The look is laid-back but polished, and a perfect transition from day to night activities.

Many people believe that only thinner body types can pull of this style, but like any other garment, it is about finding the right fit for you. The cut of the shorts is flattering on body types from thin to curvy. It enhances the right curves and helps to lengthen the look of your legs when paired with heels.

Feel Fresh Fridays: Nautical

As you may have noticed, stripes have been a big trend in magazines and on the runway for the spring/summer '12 season.  As spring quickly approaches, I find myself eager to start preparing my wardrobe for weeks in the city and weekends down the shore. But how can you create a wardrobe that's acceptable for both the streets and the beach? Our solution: Nautical stripes, deep navy's, and crisp whites.

During the summer, it can be difficult to decide what to wear on hot days that allows you to stay cool but look put together. The combination of light and flowly fabrics in navy and white is an easy way to accomplish this look. Crisp whites instantly make any outfit chic, and pair well with navy; creating a fashionable and practical look for any setting. Adding gold accents helps to tie in the "nautical" theme and dress up the look.
